Prep 15 for 10/16/09
I had my best week picking games, posting an 11-4 mark in Week 5. No huge matchups this week unless you count Phelan Serrano at Rim of the World. I’ll be covering Corona Centennial vs. Riverside Poly at Riverside King for the Riverside Press-Enterprise. Game starts at 7 p.m.

San Bernardino Arroyo Valley at Colton — The Hawks (4-1 overall) lost last week to Victorville Silverado, 31-20, despite junior QB Michael Yearwood (5-11, 185) accounting for two TDs. The combination of junior QB Jordan Mixon (5-11, 180) and senior RB Derrick Malone (6-2, 205) have the Yellowjackets (4-1) rolling. The combo hasn’t lost since Week 1 to Vista Murrieta.
COLTON 17, ARROYO VALLEY 13.
Temecula Chaparral at Murrieta Valley — Senior QB Mitch Glasmann (6-4, 220) completed just seven passes last week but four went for TDs as the Pumas (3-2) traveled out to Cathedral City and laid a 70-0 smackdown. The Nighthawks (3-2) also traveled out to the desert and got a ‘W.’ Senior RB A.J. Moore (5-11, 190) ran for 113 yards and two TDs as Murrieta Valley defeated La Quinta, 49-26.
