Prep Predictions: CIF Central Division
To revisit some of FOMB’s earlier predictions from this year’s Inland Area football playoffs…
There’s always a need to balance the good with the bad. FOMB was 8-for-8 in the first round (awe-some) but got just 1-for-4 right in the quarterfinals. How could it all go so drasticaly wrong, aside from Rancho Verde (12-0)? Picking La Quinta (10-2) to lose is a start. The do it the right way, way out there in the desert. But do they stand a chance against the freight train that is Rancho Verde? And going against both Cajon (10-2) and Colton (9-3) was a mistake. One of those teams was bound to go through to the semifinals. Now they’ll face each other for a spot in the championship game.
