2. Vista Murrieta (2-0) — The Broncos are rounding into shape after a shutout victory over what was supposed to be one of the Big VIII’s top offenses.

WEEK THREE: at Rancho Cucamonga Los Osos on FRIDAY.

3. Corona Centennial (1-1) — The Huskies rebounded from their near-miss in Week 1 with a solid win over another regional powerhouse in Week 2.

WEEK THREE: vs. Temecula Chaparral on FRIDAY.

4. Elsinore (3-0) — It wasn’t pretty but the Tigers got the job done, running for more than 300 yards.

5. Moreno Valley Rancho Verde (2-0) — The Mustangs didn’t play in Week 2 in preparation for their toughest non-league game of the season.

WEEK THREE: at No. 10 Menifee Heritage on FRIDAY.

6. Redlands East Valley (2-0) — The Wildcats posted their second consecutive shutout in Week 2. The keep going like this and the sky’s the limit.

7. Rancho Cucamonga (3-0) — The Cougars allowed their first points of the season in Week 2, and have now outscored opponents 127-6 this season.

8. Riverside North (2-0) — The Huskies won their biggest game in several seasons in Week 2, outlasting one of the best teams in Southern California.

9. San Bernardino Cajon (3-0) — The Cowboys proved the early success wasn’t a fluke by pounding the 10-time Sunkist League champs.
