1. Murrieta Valley — The Nighthawks, coached by Bryan Lynton, advanced to the CIF-SS Division 2 championship game last season, where the lost 11-10 to Newport Beach Corona del Mar. Murrieta Valley, led by Tristan Reinhardt and J.R. Meyers, begins play vs. La Verne Damien on Sept. 27.
2. Riverside Poly — The Bears, coached by former Riverside City College standout Casey Finfrock, advanced to the CIF-SS Division 2 quarterfinals last season, where the lost to division finalist Murrieta Valley. Poly, led by Nolyn Wild and Will Weggeland, is 6-1 this season.
3. Riverside King — The Wolves, coached by former Riverside City College standout Kevin Rosa, advanced to the CIF-SS Division 2 quarterfinals last season, where they lost to the eventual champion, Newport Beach Corona del Mar. King, led by Joseph Moorman and Thomas Appel, is 6-2 overall this season.
4. Beaumont — The Cougars, coached by Chris Carlson, advanced to the CIF-SS Division 6 semifinals last season, where they lost 13-10 in overtime to Malibu. Beaumont, led by Brody Wood, Landon Carr and Minh Tri Quach, is 4-0 this season.
