Corona Santiago senior RB Vincent Pacleb has been selected InlandFieldhouse.com’s Player of the Week after his Week 0 performance in a 42-27 victory over Murrieta Valley in a non-league game on Friday, Aug. 17, 2018.
Pacleb ran for four touchdowns and 183 yards for Corona Santiago (1-0 overall) as the Sharks defeated Murrieta Valley in their season opener for the second consecutive season.
The 5-foot-6, 175-pound running back ran for touchdowns of 22, 42, 14 and 30 yards to stake his claim to the top option in Santiago’s improving offense.
Pacleb was the Sharks leading rushing last season, totaling 546 rushing yards and eight TDs on 93 carries last season.
