Corona Centennial senior WR Gary Bryant has been selected’s Player of the Week after his show-stopping Week 3 performance in a 63-29 victory over Henderson (Nev.) Liberty in a nonleague game on Friday, Sept. 13, 2019.


Bryant had nine catches for 234 yards and five touchdowns as the Huskies (2-2 overall) broke out on offense for 657 yards yards to shrug off a difficult loss to San Diego Cathedral Catholic last week.

The 6-foot, 175-pound wideout was a pre-season All-American is widely considered the top slot receiver in the country. A starter since his sophomore season, Bryant’s reception total (106) and receiving yardage total (2,137) are the top numbers in the nation during the same stretch.

Currently uncommitted but recruited throughout the PAC-12 and Big 12, among many others, Bryant now has had a couple of big weeks back-to-back, topping 100 receiving yards in Weeks 2 and 3.
