Norco AND Centennial Lose? What?
I can hardly believe my eyes.
Norco loses on Friday night, 34-33, to Vista Murrieta.
Corona Centennial loses on Saturday night, 42-35, to Temecula Chaparral.
So let’s try this again. Vista Murrieta and Chaparral, two Southwestern League teams and not a single Big VIII League team, will be playing in the Inland Division title game next week at Angels Stadium in Anaheim?
This comes as a complete surprise to me, and surely, every prep pundit in the Inland Empire.

If you read that anywhere, or if anyone tells you they saw that one coming, don’t believe it. It can’t possibly be true.
