1. Vista Murrieta (4-0) — The Broncos may have defeated their toughest non-league opponent — ever. And it took a huge game from junior QB Nicholas Stevens.

3. Redlands East Valley (4-0) — The Wildcats jump two spots after going on the road and throttling one of last season’s CIF-Southern Section Inland Division semifinalists.

4. Moreno Valley Rancho Verde (4-0) — The Mustangs began defense of their Inland Valley League crown with a nonchalant victory over its intracity rival.

5. Rancho Cucamonga (5-0) — The Cougars may be the best team in San Bernardino County. It’s hard to argue with their record, or their 5.2 points-against average this season.

6. Riverside North (4-0) — The Huskies opened the Big VIII with a difficult victory in the face of playing “You Know Who” this week.

7. Norco (3-1) — The Cougars punished their intra-dairy rival to bounce back from an embarrassing loss to Upland in Week 4.

8. Elsinore (4-1) — The Tigers played their first road game in four weeks and were bit in the backside because of it.

9. San Bernardino Cajon (4-0) — The Cowboys are averaging exactly 50 points per game after scoring 200 points through their first four games.
