… is Player Of The Week following his scintillating performance in Norco’s 35-19 victory over Corona on Friday, Nov. 4, 2011. Ajeigbe, ran for 266 yards on just six carries — a 44-yard average — and four touchdowns as the Cougars secured their 25th consecutive playoff appearance.
Ajeigbe, who earlier this season told me the UCLA was on his radar, put on a show worthy of Norco’s greatest back, Toby Gerhart, who was reported to be at the game on Friday night.
Ajeigbe (5-foot-8, 198 pounds) had TD runs of 98, 16, 10 and 81 yards as Norco (6-3 overall, 4-2 Big VIII) pounded Corona, tightening its grip on second place in the Big VIII. He now has 1,382 yards and 16 TDs this season.
