1. Lake Elsinore Storm (69-71 last season) — First to win a Cal League title with losing regular-season record

2. Rancho Cucamonga Quakes (80-60) — Open up with a big four-game home series vs. Inland Empire 66ers

3. Modesto Nuts (74-66) — Colorado Rockies’ affiliate should feature Cal League’s best outfield

4. San Jose Giants (90-50) — Former Riverside Red Wave player Andy Skeels will manage this season

5. Stockton Ports (75-65) — Were hard-luck losers in wild California League championship series

6. Inland Empire 66ers (69-71) — Team will play at newly renamed San Manuel Stadium in San Bernardino

7. Bakersfield Blaze (66-74) — Open at home with four-game series against San Joaquin Valley rival Visalia

8. Visalia Rawhide (63-77) — Arizona Diamondbacks’ affiliate plays in Recreation Ballpark, opened 1946

9. Lancaster Jethawks (55-85) — New manager Rodney Linares is new, as is the GM & stadium sponsorship

10. High Desert Mavericks (59-81) — Seattle Mariners’ affiliate will host desert rival Lancaster to open 2012
