PREP 15: Week Seven

No. 3 Corona Centennial (+14) at Norco
 — Senior QB Robert Webber (13-0 TD-INT) has emerged as one of the best in the Inland Area for Huskies (5-1), who enter this historic rivalry as the team of note. Cougars (3-3) sputtering, lack consistency.

Corona (+6) at Riverside King — Panthers (2-4) continue to utilize the Wildcat to mixed results. Wolves (3-3) desperately need QB Brett Hollingsworth to be finally be the guy who can win a close game.

Rialto Eisenhower (+3) at Yucaipa
 — Key playmakers Marquane Harris and Trevin Island set the tone for Eagles (4-1), now a legit playoff contender. Thunderbirds (4-2) were beat up by REV, will have decent home support.

Redlands (+9) at Cajon — Craig Lee and the Terriers (5-1) might be the CBL’s best team after all, should win easily vs. Cowboys (2-4), a team with athletes but lacking consistency.

No. 10 Redlands East Valley (+12) at Fontana Miller — Wildcats got back on track in a big way in Week 6, still reigning CBL champs. Rebels (1-5) look destined for league cellar.

Temecula Great Oak (-21) at No. 1 Vista Murrieta
 — Wolfpack (3-3) have effective offensive duo but give up too many points. Nick Stevens, Su’a Cravens, Broncos (6-0) will take advantage.

Murrieta Mesa (+7) at Murrieta Valley — The battle for the second-best team in Murrieta. Can QB Chase Chambers (23-5 TD-INT) take the Rams to first-ever win vs. Nighthawks (6-0), a surprise unbeaten heading into Week 7?

Temecula Valley (-24) at No. 7 Temecula Chaparral — In he passing game, the Bears (1-5) are practically horizontal. Pumas (5-1) seem dominant on defense, likely a reflection of their coach.

Glendora (-28) at No. 2 Upland
 — Tartans (3-3) averaging just over 22 points per game, travel to The ‘U’ where senior QB Nate Romine is lighting up scoreboards while accumulating 12 total TDs and more than 1,600 total yards thus far.

No. 9 Rancho Cucamonga (+8) vs. Rancho Cucamonga Etiwanda — Cougars (4-2) coming off loss to Upland, look to bounce back in big way vs. Tommy Leach’s Eagles (2-4), who have lost back-to-back games by 37 points or more.

Rancho Cucamonga Alta Loma (-14) vs. Rancho Cucamonga Los Osos — Braves (4-2) might be doormat of the league, despite their decent record. Grizzlies (3-3) tough non-league schedule already paying off, just watch senior QB Victor Bolden.

No. 4 Menifee Heritage (+10) at Lake Elsinore Temescal Canyon
— Can senior RB Jamal Morrow has already surpassed 1,100 yards for Patriots (5-1), who take Highway 74 across to play tough-running Titans (3-3).

No. 6 Fontana Summit (+35) at Fontana
 — New coach Cesar Villalobos doing admirable job for SkyHawks (5-1), who will rub it in face of Steelers (1-5) for yet another year.

No. 5 Perris Citrus Hill (+6) at Beaumont
— Hawks (6-0) should be wary here, they face long road trip to play to Cougars (5-1), who have best duo in years with senior QB Josh Johnson and junior RB Joe Jeffers.

No. 8 Rialto Carter (+7) at Rialto
— Lions (6-0) intent upon building something special in North Rialto, visit the patriarch Knights (3-3) who have back-to-back game since losing to Summit and Heritage in Weeks 3 and 4.
