1. Visalia (18-7 2nd Half, 42-28 1st Half) — Rawhide relying on flame-throwing starting rotation?

2. San Jose (17-8, 30-40) — Giants’ batters striking out far less than league average.

3. Inland Empire (11-12, 34-35) — Sixers getting quietly great season from 1B Eric Aguilera.

4. Modesto (16-9, 33-37) — Nuts hoping Raimel Tapia will develop power to go with four other tools.

5. Stockton (13-12, 38-32) — Ports flying under the radar right now, look out for a late run.

6. Lancaster (12-13, 37-33) — JetHawks riding A.J. Reed’s increasingly-likely Triple Crown year.

7. Rancho Cucamonga (11-13, 41-29) — Quakes unable to do much damage so far in 2nd Half.

8. High Desert (9-13, 37-32) — Mavericks’ league-worst ERA (5.36) isn’t going away.

9. Bakersfield (8-17, 26-44) — Blaze continue to undermine solid pitching performances.

10. Lake Elsinore (7-18, 31-39) — Storm’ pitchers have allowed nearly 1,000 so far this season.
