FOUR & MORE: Best Inland Area WRs
1. Javon McKinley, Corona Centennial — Sure to be the most-recruited high school football player in the history of the Inland Area, McKinley has physical tools (6-foot-3, 200 pounds) that others at his position simply do not.
2. Khris Vaughn, Redlands East Valley — Emerged as strong-armed QB Armando Herrera’s favorite target and was third among CIF-Southern Section junior with 65 catches.
3. Kyle Williams, Vista Murrieta — Back at his natural position after playing QB last season out of necessity, Williams is as good an athlete as any on this list.
4. Matthew Thompson, Redlands Arrowhead Christian — Small-school stuff aside, Thompson has totaled 125 receptions nearly 2,400 yards the last two years.
Jazzdon Stewart, Lake Elsinore Lakeside — Off to a fast start with 20 catches & 7 TDs.
Cameron Jackson, Corona Centennial — Has fit right in as Huskies’ slot option.
Brian Casteel, Covina Charter Oak — Had 65 catches & 1,200 yards as sophomore.
