Patterson ran for an 273 yards and four touchdowns on 28 carries as the Mustangs (1-0 overall) opened the new campaign with a victory.

The 5-foot-4, 120-pound junior had a 66-yard scoring run among his total as he topped 100 yards for the first time in his varsity career.

With his most recent performance, Patterson more than doubled his career rushing total (123 yards in four games last season) while tripling his career touchdown number.
