Norco senior QB Shane Illingsworth has been selected InlandFieldhouse.com’s Player of the Week after his scintillating Week 4 performance in a 52-20 victory over Redlands East Valley in a nonleague game on Friday, Sept. 20, 2019.

Illingworth was 10 of 12 for 228 yards and five TDs as the Cougars (4-0 overall) continued their impressive start to the season.

The 6-foot-6, 220-pound quarterback was recently selected to the 2020 Under Armour All-American High School All-Star Game, with the now-classic jersey ceremony via Army aircraft, and reception at Norco HS on Tuesday, Sept. 24.

Currently third in CIF-Southern Section in passing, Illingsworth has completed 73 of 100 pass attempts for 1,584 yards and 22 touchdowns so far this season. He currently has 4,936 passing yards and 61 TDs in his career, and will likely set several Norco career passing records before the end of this season.
