Jordan Jefferson, Rancho Verde…

MoVal Rancho Verde senior RB Jordan Jefferson has been InlandFieldhouse.com’s Player of the Week after his defining Week 10 performance in a 44-0 victory over Menifee Heritage in a Ivy League game on Thursday, Oct. 31, 2019.

JEFFERSON

Jefferson rushed for 183 yards and a career-high five TDs on just 18 carries as the Mustangs (9-1 overall, 3-0 Ivy) wrapped up their fourth consecutive unbeaten league title with the win.

The 5-foot-7, 165-pound running back needed the big game to reach a couple of season benchmarks (1,000 yards and 20 TDs), and he did so in impressive fashion with a 45-yard touchdown run – his second-longest of the season – to finish the regular season averaging 10.5 yards per carry.

Currently, Jefferson has 1,104 rushing yards and 21 TDs through the first 10 games as the Mustangs look to make another deep run in the CIF-Southern Section Division 1/2 playoffs.
