GAME OF THE WEEK: Chino Hills at Jurupa Hills

THE DETAILS:
Chino Hills vs. Fontana Jurupa Hills
CIF-Southern Section – Week 2
At Fontana (Calif.) Jurupa Hills High School
Kickoff: 7 p.m. PT on Friday, Sept. 3
CHINO HILLS (1-1 overall, 0-0 Baseline League) might be slow out of the gate on offense, averaging less than 200 total yards per game so far, but the Huskies have a bunch of ‘balldogs’ on defense. Five different players have recorded interceptions in just two games for Chino Hills; the Corbin twins – Colin and Hunter – have one apiece.
HEAD COACH: Mykeal Terry

JURUPA HILLS (1-0 overall, 0-0 Sunkist League) put it down on Fontana Miller in its Week 1 season opener, pummeling the cross-town Rebels 44-8 utilizing a ball-control offense that finished off drives. Young playmakers Jordan Napier and Stacy Bey each had a rushing TD and a receiving TD last week, and have a lot of people excited about the Spartans.
HEAD COACH: Citos Martinez
ROSTER – QB: Andray Freeman, Sr. (6-foot, 170 pounds); RB: Bryan Calderon, Jr. (5-6, 165); WR/OLB: Stacy Bey, Soph., (6-foot, 195); WR/FS: Jordan Napier, Jr. (6-1, 190); OL: Jesus Colin, Sr. (5-8, 210); DL: Steven Serna, Sr. (5-10, 215); DL: Aaron Ruiz, Sr. (6-foot, 215); LB: Johnny Ramirez, Jr. (5-9, 190); CB: Darius Auberry, Sr. (5-8, 150)
THE DIFFERENCE:
We’ve dubbed this one ‘The Battle Between The Hills’. Chino Hills must do a better job of holding on to the ball. For Jurupa Hills, just get the ball in the hands of Napier and Bey at look out.
THE FINAL SCORE (PROJECTED):
Jurupa Hills 36, Chino Hills 28
