Yucaipa senior Emmanuel “JoJo” Barajas has been selected InlandFieldhouse.com’s Player of the Week after historic Week 4-B performance as the Thunderbirds defeated San Diego University City 37-28 in a nonleague game on Friday, Sept. 17, 2021.

Barajas rushed for a school record 327 yards and five touchdowns on 51 carries as the Thunderbirds (5-0 overall) finished the preseason unbeaten.

The 5-foot-8, 180-pound senior captain leads CIF-Southern Section leader in rushing yards (1,125), carries (154) and rushing touchdowns (15) through the first five weeks of the season.
