PREP BASKETBALL 2021
BEST FOUR & MORE CENTERS
1. Dennis Evans, Jr., Hillcrest – On college coaches’ radars for more than two years, and recently had a triple-double in the championship game of the Kiwanis Tournament. Now over 7-foot-1, he might be the biggest thing to come out of the I.E. hoops scene in quite some time.
2. Clayton Mpiana, Soph., Arrowhead Christian – Arrived on campus taller than his classmates, Mpiana is now 6-foot-8, is showing massive improvement and has four double-doubles already this season.
3. Chris Dodge, Sr., Xavier Prep – Averaging nearly 14 points & 11 rebounds per game out in low desert.
4. Nathan Hernandez, Jr., Yucaipa – Enjoying a breakout season as the big man for the Thunderbirds.
