CAJON (2-0 overall, 0-0 Citrus Belt League) gained a lot of attention for its 27-2 win over Arbor View (NV) in Week 0 and followed it up with a shootout win over Orange Vista. Senior QB Evan Powell has the bulk of the pass attempts this season but there’s a ton of QB talent on this roster and as many as five different guys can throw darts for this team.

AQUINAS (1-2 overall, 0-0 Ironwood) was slow to get going this season against a pair of high-quality teams (Oak Hills and JSerra Catholic) but got a quality 28-7 win over Xavier Prep last week. Junior RB JoJo Solis is averaging just 4.6 yards per carry and has only one TD. Are we to expect more of the preseason All-American?

THE DIFFERENCE:
Cajon’s defense is lean and mean and the offense is efficient. This is a tough task for Aquinas.
