Don Lugo junior Kalib Pacheco has been selected InlandFieldhouse.com’s Player of the Week after a big-armed performance as the Conquistadores defeated Santa Paula, 45-31, in a CIF-Southern Section Division 12 first round playoff game on Friday, Nov. 3, 2023.

Pacheco completed 26 of 36 pass attempts for 445 yards and a season-high six touchdowns as the Conquistadores (5-6 overall, 3-0 San Antonio) won a playoff game for the first time in five seasons.

The 5-foot-11, 160-pound quarterback has passed for 38 TDs this season and ranks eighth in the state with 3,001 passing yards.
