Banning senior Jacob Anzaldua has been selected InlandFieldhouse.com’s Player of the Week after a second consecutive aerial assault as the Broncos beat Redlands 42-26 a CIF-Southern Section Week 1 nonleague game on Friday, Aug. 28, 2026.
Anzaldua completed 30 of 47 pass attempts for 394 yards and four touchdowns in the win for Banning (2-0 overall), the reigning two-time Sun Valley League champions.
Anzaldua currently ranks first in CIFSS in passing completions (81) and yards (797) and is second in touchdowns (10).
