La Sierra sophomore Steven Moore has been selected InlandFieldhouse.com’s Player of the Week after single-handedly defeating Chaffey 49-44 in a CIF-Southern Section Week 4 nonleague game on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2026.
Moore completed 9 of 13 pass attempts for 155 yards and three touchdowns while adding a career-high 296 rushing yards and three more scores in the win as La Sierra (3-1 overall) has won back-to-back games for the first time since 2018.
Moore currently ranks first in CIFSS in yards per carry (15.83), seventh in rushing yards (839), and first among CIFSS quarterbacks in rushing yards per game (167.8) and rushing touchdowns (8).
