1. Alex Turkson, Moreno Valley Valley View — The reigning Inland Area Player Of The Year is having another terrific season for the Eagles, currently the Inland Area’s top-ranked team. “Ghana” to his teammates, coaches and friends, the 5-foot-11, 140-pound center forward has 7 goals and 8 assists in 10 appearances this season.

2. Jonathan Madrid, Fontana — Key to the scoring force that is the best side in San Bernardino County, the 5-foot-10, 165-pound striker has 12 goals and 8 assists in 12 appearances.
TOP FIXTURES: at Yucaipa on 2/1; at Redlands East Valley on 2/8.

3. Miguel Hernandez, Moreno Valley Valley View — The steely force coming out of Valley View is, in essence, the personality of Hernandez. The 5-foot-7, 165-pound striker doesn’t say much but has seven goals and three assists.

4. Oscar Gonzalez, Lake Elsinore Lakeside — Though he suffered from a broken leg that sidelined him the last part of last year’s regular season and the playoffs, the 5-foot-11, 165-pound junior striker has six goals for the Lancers, one of the best teams in Division 6.

AND MORE: Jason Canahai, Riverside Arlington — Relentless hustle and a nose for goal are traits of this often over-looked attack-minded midfielder, a 5-foot-10, 160-pound senior who has five of the Lions’ 20 total goals this season.
