1. Vista Murrieta (9-0) — Did we say Murrieta Mesa would be a tough game for the Broncos? Seems little is standing between this team and back-to-back championships.

2. Upland (9-0) — Another rout for The ‘U’ in Week 9 and a re-building Etiwanda in Week 10. This team hasn’t played a good team since Week 6. Will it be mentally ready for tougher foes?

3. Corona Centennial (8-1) — Robert Webber finally threw his first INT of 2012 but didn’t slow Huskies, who travel to Santiago to play Sharks in defacto Big VIII League title game.

4. Perris Citrus Hill (9-0) — Hawks dispatched Tahquitz and should cruise into the playoffs as the No. 1 seed in the CIF-Southern Section’s Eastern Division.

5. Menifee Heritage (8-1) — So much on the line this week vs. Elsinore; Subelt League title and top seed in Central Division both hang in the balance.

8. Temecula Chaparral (7-2) — Dropped what will likely be the first of two games, may not be long for the Top 10 despite swarming defense.

LAST RANKED: No. 5.

9. Rancho Cucamonga (7-2) — Baseline League is so top heavy it is hard to expect much from Cougars despite shutdown pass defense.
THIS SEASON 7-2 overall, 3-1 Baseline League. LAST SEASON: 11-2 overall, 4-1 Baseline League.
LAST RANKED: No. 9.

10. Phelan Serrano (9-0) — Diamondbacks have not allowed more than 20 points in a game this season, and that was in the season opener vs. Lancaster Paraclete, a CIF-SS East Valley finalist last season.
