1. Rancho Cucamonga (8-0) — Is the pressure of being unbeaten beginning to get affect the Cougars? Coach Nick Baiz hadn’t played a one-touchdown game since Week 2 vs. Bishop Amat.

2. Vista Murrieta (7-1) — Broncos jumped to No. 1 in the recent CIF-SS Inland Division poll, but not here where a Week 4 loss to a small parochial school from San Diego still resonates.

4. Corona Santiago (5-3) — Sharks survived three-overtime affair vs. Riverside King and now must face rival Centennial. Can Jeff Steinberg’s team avoid becoming sushi?
THIS SEASON: 5-3 overall, 3-0 Big VIII League. LAST SEASON: 6-5 overall, 4-1 Big VIII League.
LAST RANKED: No. 4.

5. Menifee Heritage (7-1) — Patriots have been in and out of Inland Area Top 5 but proved they deserve to stay with an emphatic victory over previously-ranked Paloma Valley.
THIS SEASON: 7-1 overall, 3-0 Sunbelt League. LAST SEASON: 11-2 overall, 5-0 Sunbelt League.

6. Temecula Chaparral (6-2) — Pumas on the prowl and jump into Inland Area Top 10 for the first time this season after improving to 3-0 in the Southwestern League.
THIS SEASON: 6-2 overall, 3-0 Southwestern League. LAST SEASON: 7-4 overall, 3-2 Southwestern League.
LAST RANKED: Not Ranked.

7. Temecula Great Oak (4-4) — Wolfpack have lost consecutive games for the first time in 2013 but finish their season with winnable back-to-back home games.
THIS SEASON: 4-4 overall, 1-2 Southwestern League. LAST SEASON: 5-6 overall, 2-3 Southwestern League.
LAST RANKED: No. 5.

8. Murrieta Valley (5-3) — Without RB Michael Robles the Nighthawks offense has been significantly reduced and it showed in the first lopsided loss of the Vinny Fazio era.
THIS SEASON: 5-3 overall, 1-2 Southwestern League. LAST SEASON: 10-2 overall, 4-1 Southwestern League.
LAST RANKED: No. 7.

WEEK NINE: vs. No. 6 Temecula Chaparral on FRIDAY.

9. Perris Citrus Hill (7-1) — Hawks doubled up on Hemet in Week 8, and face what will likely be their most difficult league challenge vs. a tough and talented Tahquitz team this week.
THIS SEASON: 7-1 overall, 3-0 Mountain Pass League. LAST SEASON: 14-0 overall, 5-0 Mountain Pass League.
LAST RANKED: No. 9.

10. San Bernardino San Gorgonio (8-0) — Spartans have scored at least 61 points each of the last two weeks, and now have 383 points this season.
