1. Vista Murrieta (10-1) — Broncos dispatched of outmanned Los Osos in the 1st Round of the CIF-Southern Section playoffs, but tougher tasks await Coley Candaele and Co.

2. Corona Centennial (9-2) — Huskies continue torrid pace; Have scored 55-or-more points eight times this season while also totaling 43-or-more points in their last seven consecutive games.
THIS SEASON: 9-2 overall, 5-0 Big VIII League. LAST SEASON: 14-2 overall, 5-0 Big VIII League.

3. Rancho Cucamonga (10-1) — Cougars rebounded from Week 10 loss to Upland with a dominant victory over REV in Week 11. Was it the wake-up call Nick Baiz’s team needed?

4. Menifee Heritage (10-1) — Patriots needed a strong second half to beat gutsy Arlington in a game that was 7-7 at halftime, and will face much tougher opponent this week.
THIS SEASON: 10-1 overall, 5-0 Sunbelt League. LAST SEASON: 11-2 overall, 5-0 Sunbelt League.
LAST RANKED: No. 4.

5. Temecula Chaparral (8-3) — Pumas bounced back from loss to Vista Murrieta in Week 10 to win a close, hard-fought game vs. Chino Hills in their playoff opener.
THIS SEASON: 8-3 overall, 4-1 Southwestern League. LAST SEASON: 7-4 overall, 3-2 Southwestern League.
LAST RANKED: No. 5.

6. San Bernardino San Gorgonio (11-0) — Spartans have scored 303 points over their last five games. Only team in the Inland Area — Centennial (307 in same stretch) — has done that.

8. Perris Citrus Hill (10-1) — Hawks crushed longshot Ramona to open what looks on paper to be a do-able run at second consecutive Eastern Division title defense.

9. Upland (8-3) — Scots jump back into the Inland Area Top 10 after they handled Rancho Cucamonga in Week 10 then held on to beat South Hills in their first round playoff game.

10. Corona Santiago (6-5) — Sharks jumped out of the water to take a bite out of Eisenhower and take a step further in the postseason than they did last year.
