1. Corona Centennial (12-2) — Huskies didn’t have much trouble in disposing of Vista Murrieta for a second consecutive CIF-Southern Section Inland Division title. Now on to the state playoffs.
THIS SEASON: 12-2 overall, 5-0 Big VIII League. LAST SEASON: 14-2 overall, 5-0 Big VIII League.

2. Vista Murrieta (12-2) — Broncos turned into a one-horse engine, and QB Coltin Gerhart just didn’t have enough left in the tank after beating Norco the week before.

3. Menifee Heritage (13-1) — The CIF-SS Central Division title game turned into the Limihai Hifo Show. The 6-foot-3, 245-pound senior FB/LB/DE absolutely willed the Patriots to victory.
THIS SEASON: 13-1 overall, 5-0 Sunbelt League. LAST SEASON: 11-2 overall, 5-0 Sunbelt League.

LAST WEEK: def. No. 6 MoVal Rancho Verde 34-33 in the CIF-SS Central Division Championship Game on Saturday, Dec. 7.

4. Perris Citrus Hill (13-1) — Hawks join Corona Centennial as the only Inland Area teams to twice win consecutive CIF-SS titles. Eric Zomalt now will have a hard time spurning offers.
THIS SEASON: 13-1 overall, 5-0 Mountain Pass League. LAST SEASON: 14-0 overall, 5-0 Mountain Pass League.

5. Norco (9-4) — Cougars move forward with Larry Baker and renewed hope that it’ll be about the boys on the field and not the men “running” the team.
THIS SEASON: 9-4 overall, 4-1 Big VIII League. LAST SEASON: 7-5 overall, 3-2 Big VIII League.

6. Moreno Valley Rancho Verde (11-3) — Mustangs were not the most physical team in the CIF-SS Central Division title game, and it proved their undoing in the end.
THIS SEASON: 11-3 overall, 6-0 Inland Valley League. LAST SEASON: 10-4 overall, 5-1 Inland Valley League.

7. San Bernardino San Gorgonio (12-1) — Spartans had their best season since the advent of color TV. It remains to be seen what impact it’ll have on the long-suffering program.
THIS SEASON: 12-1 overall, 5-0 San Andreas League. LAST SEASON: 8-3 overall, 4-1 San Andreas League.

8. Upland (9-4) — The ‘U’ said adieu to the 2013 season with 56 points — a season high — in a fantastic Inland Division semifinal that’ll likely go down as the Area’s event of the year.
THIS SEASON: 9-4 overall, 3-2 Baseline League. LAST SEASON: 12-1 overall, 5-0 Baseline League.

9. Rancho Cucamonga (10-2) — Cougars’ season accomplishments — and the teams they beat — speak volumes, but Coach Nick Baiz still needs to find a way to get past the Big 2.
THIS SEASON: 10-2 overall, 4-1 Baseline League. LAST SEASON: 10-3 overall, 4-1 Baseline League.

10. Fontana Jurupa Hills (12-2) — Spartans won the CIF-SS East Valley championship in just their second playoffs and fourth year overall. Junior QB Damion Wright (6-foot-2, 180 pounds) can be brilliant.
