… is FOMB’s Player Of The Week after his electric performance in a 35-12 victory over San Bernardino Arroyo Valley in a Week 0 non-league game.

Mattison rushed for 314 yards and four TDs on 23 carries for San Bernardino (1-0 overall), and also had two receptions for 90 yards in finished with more than 400 yards from scrimmage in the game.

The 6-foot, 195-pound junior is listed and running back in linebacker but he averaged more than 13 yards per carry so it’ll be difficult for head coach Jeff Imbriani to let him play too much defense.

“He’s going to be a work horse,” Imbriani said before the season. “We’re expecting big things out of him.”
