1. Corona Centennial (3-2) — Huskies looked like the team we’re used to seeing, scoring 70-plus for the first time this season in a rout.

LAST RANKED: No. 1.
LAST GAME: def. Valencia 72-42 in a non-league game on Friday, Oct. 3.

2. Upland (3-2) — What happens at The ‘U’ stays at The ‘U’. Especially during the bye week.
THIS SEASON: 3-2 overall.
LAST SEASON: 9-4 overall, 4-1 Baseline League. 2012: 12-1, 5-0.
LAST RANKED: No. 2.
LAST GAME: defeated Ventura St. Bonaventure 25-21 in a non-league game on Friday, Sept. 26.
WEEK SIX: vs. La Verne Damien on Friday, Oct. 10.

3. Menifee Heritage (5-0) — Patriots had a chance to exhale, if for a moment. Coach Kraig Broach’s team hasn’t lost a game since last October.
THIS SEASON: 5-0 overall.
LAST SEASON: 13-1 overall, 5-0 Sunbelt League. 2012: 11-2, 5-0.
LAST RANKED: No. 3.
LAST GAME: def. Rancho Cucamonga Etiwanda 15-14 in a non-league game on Friday, Sept. 26.

4. Moreno Valley Rancho Verde (4-1) — Mustangs took their bye in stride and will get going in the Inland Valley League with an easy victory.
THIS SEASON: 4-1 overall.
LAST SEASON: 11-3 overall, 6-0 Inland Valley League. 2012: 10-4, 5-1.
LAST RANKED: No. 4.
LAST GAME: def. Hemet West Valley 56-21 in a non-league game on Friday, Sept. 26.

5. Perris Citrus Hill (4-1) — Hawks defense cannot be over-looked. Coach Eric Zomalt’s guys didn’t allow more than 21 points to either Roosevelt and Norco.

LAST SEASON: 13-1 overall, 5-0 Mountain Pass League. 2012: 14-0, 5-0.

6. Chino Hills (4-1) — Huskies closed an extremely beefy non-league schedule by going on the road to the High Desert a earning a complete victory.

LAST SEASON: 7-4 overall, 3-2 Sierra League. 2012: 7-3-1, 4-1.
LAST RANKED: No. 7.
LAST GAME: defeated Victor Valley 48-0 in a non-league game on Friday, Oct. 3.

7. Vista Murrieta (3-2) — Broncos bounced back from bad loss to Orange Lutheran in Week 4 with a narrow two-point win in Week 5.
THIS SEASON: 3-2 overall.
LAST SEASON: 12-2 overall, 5-0 Southwestern League. 2012: 13-1, 5-0.
LAST RANKED: No. 6.
LAST GAME: def. San Diego St. Augustine 15-13 in a non-league game on Friday, Oct. 3.

8. Rancho Cucamonga (3-2) — Cougars will try to avoid losing consecutive games as they open Baseline League play against Chino Hills.

LAST RANKED: No. 8.

9. Riverside Poly (5-0) — Bears handed a Big VIII team a loss for the first time since they left the league two seasons ago.
THIS SEASON: 5-0 overall.
LAST SEASON: 9-3 overall, 5-1 Inland Valley League. 2012: 4-6, 3-3.
LAST RANKED: No. 9.
LAST GAME: def. Corona 35-17 in a non-league game on Friday, Oct. 3.

10 (tie). Redlands East Valley (4-1) — Wildcats retained the Smudge Pot as Malik Lovette went off for four TDs and nearly 300 total yards to beat their cross-town rival.
THIS SEASON: 3-1 overall, 1-0 Citrus Belt League.
LAST SEASON: 5-6 overall, 4-1 Citrus Belt League. 2012: 5-5, 4-1.
LAST RANKED: No. 10.
LAST GAME: def. Fontana Miller 48-6 in a Citrus Belt League game on Friday, Oct. 3.
WEEK FIVE: vs. Rialto Eisenhower at Redlands Citrus Valley HS on Friday, Oct. 10.

10 (tie). Riverside Norte Vista (5-0) — Braves are averaging way more than 300 rushing yards per game as Coach Ken Batdorf’s team cracks Top 10 for first time.
