FOUR & MORE: Best Non-League FB Games

FOUR&MORE
PREP FOOTBALL 2015
BEST INLAND AREA NON-LEAGUE GAMES

1. Perris Citrus Hill at MoVal Rancho Verde, Week 0 — There’s been a lot of history built up between these two in just a short amount of time. Rancho Verde beat Citrus Hill in Week 0 last season but the Hawks edged the Mustangs in CIF-SS Inland Division quarterfinals last season.

2. Rancho Cucamonga at Norco, Week 1 — Two of the most experienced QBs in SoCal are under the microscope in this all-Cougars matchup. RC’s Angel Matute (undecided) and Norco’s Victor Viramontes (Michigan) may still be warming up, however.

3. Menifee Heritage at Temecula Great Oak, Week 0 — The Wolfpack may be 2-0 in this budding rivalry but both those wins were by just three points apiece. To wit: This is the kind of consistently-tough scheduling that improves programs.

4. Fontana Summit at Riverside Norte Vista, Week 4 — This game is a clash of Division 1 recruits, as Stephen Carr (USC) and Damian Alloway (undecided) visit Freddie Holly (Arizona State) and Devanere Crenshaw (undecided).

AND MORE: Citrus Hill at Norco, Week 4 — A game with some bite. The Hawks’ defense will be tested by Norco QB Victor Viramontes, and vice versa. One of the best tick-for-tack games on the schedule.

Redlands East Valley at Rancho Verde, Week 3 — Probably the Wildcats’ most difficult nonleague game, and arguably their toughest regular-season game overall.

Riverside Poly at Riverside King, Week 3 — This is a rivalry on the rise. It’s not the oldest but it’s the best one in The City.
