THE DETAILS:
Norco vs. Eastvale Roosevelt
At Mustangs Stadium – Eastvale (Calif.) Roosevelt HS
Kickoff: 7 p.m. PT on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016

NorcoLOGOTHE LOW DOWN:
NORCO (6-3 overall, 3-1 Big VIII) got beat up last week by Corona Centennial, 49-17, so the Cougars must win their regular season finale to secure a second-place league finish before heading into the CIF-Southern Section Division 2 playoffs. Sophomore QB Nick Lasher struggled vs. Centennial, matching a season-high with two interceptions. Proving resilient, he still completed 18 of 31 attempts for 273 yards and two TDs. Senior RB Travis Dye has surpassed the 1,000-yard rushing mark with four consecutive 100-yard performances.
HEAD COACH: Chuck Chastain

RooseveltEASTVALE ROOSELT (7-2 overall, 3-1 Big VIII) comes into this game riding a three-game winning streak since getting punched to the mat by Corona Centennial, 77-20, in Week 6. A win over Norco would be the Mustangs’ first since 2010. Junior QB Jeremy Moussa has blossomed into one of Riverside County’s elite passers this season with 36 TDs (against only four INTs) and more than 2,500 yards. Senior RB Christopher Newman has offered a reliable, albeit limited, option in the running game.
HEAD COACH: Tommy Leach
