…is the Inland Area Player of the Week after willing his team to victory as Murrieta Valley defeated San Bernardino Cajon, 49-46, in a Week 2 non-league game on Friday, Sept. 8, 2017.
Bachmeier completed 19 of 25 pass attempts for 252 yards four touchdowns as the Nighthawks (2-1 overall) topped a Citrus Belt League for the second time in as many weeks.
The 6-foot-2, 200-pound junior also rushed for 74 yards and a touchdown in the victory over Cajon, the team’s second win since opening the season with a 30-28 loss to Corona Santiago.
With his most recent performance, Bachmeier surpassed 7,500 passing yards for his three-year varsity career. He has 834 passing yards with 13 TDs this season.
