Kyle Crum, Norco…

Norco junior QB Kyle Crum has been selected InlandFieldhouse.com’s Player of the Week after an outstanding Week 3-A performance in a 38-36 victory over Corona Centennial in a Big VIII League game on Saturday, April 3, 2021.

Crum passed for 159 yards and two touchdowns, and ran for 125 yards and another score as the Cougars (3-0 overall, 3-0 Big VIII) defeated its rival for the first time in 11 years.

The 6-foot-4, 190-pound quarterback led his teammates and would not be denied, giving Norco bragging rights for the first time in a decade.

Crum had yet to show the ability to run the ball, with just 22 yards on four carries in his first two games, but had a 31-yard run for a TD that shocked the SoCal football world.

ALSO CONSIDERED:
DE Alexander Gilliam (MoVal Rancho Verde) – 2 INTs, 2 TDs
QB Dylan Wheatley (Redlands Citrus Valley) – 23-31-0-332, 6 TDs
RB D.J. Watts (Murrieta Valley) – 24-270, 4 TDs
