Beaumont sophomore Christopher Cooper has been selected InlandFieldhouse.com’s Player of the Week after an outstanding Week 2-B performance as the Cougars defeated Summit 33-22 in a nonleague game on Friday, Sept. 3, 2021.

Cooper completed 25 of 37 pass attempts for 450 yards and five touchdowns as the Cougars (3-0 overall) continue their air assault though the first three weeks of the season.

The 6-foot-1, 175-pound phenom currently leads the CIF-Southern Section with 76 completions and 1,176 passing yards, and is third in passing TDs (13).
