Corona Santiago junior Bryce Parker has been selected InlandFieldhouse.com’s Player of the Week after a defense-defying Week 7-B performance despite the Sharks’ loss to Centennial, 69-14, in a Big VIII League game on Thursday, Oct. 7, 2021.

Parker made 10 receptions for 121 yards and scored two touchdowns against Centennial’s top-ranked defensive backfield, the lone bright spot as the Sharks (1-6 overall, 0-1 Big VIII) lost its umpteenth consecutive game to Centennial.

The 5-foot-10, 165-pound basketball-player-turned-receiver burned Centennial for a 67-yard touchdowns and currently ranks fourth in the CIF-Southern Section in receiving yards (1,018) on 56 receptions and 11 touchdowns this season.
