INDIAN SPRINGS (6-5 overall, 2-3 Mountain Valley League) rode the up-and-down roller coaster all season and after losing in Week 10 have now won back-to-back games to advance to a semifinal for the first time in program history. Junior QB Luke Atlas is a playmaker on both sides of the ball but the team is led by senior captain Sam Gambrah, who ran for two touchdowns and more than 200 yards in a big quarterfinal win on the road at Hawthorne. .

RIALTO (7-6 overall, 3-1 Skyine League) normally wouldn’t be anywhere near the semifinals in a normal season but here the Knights are, and they’ve scored 176 points over the last four weeks. Touchdowns are flowing and junior RB Antoine Fowler is having one of the best seasons ever for a Rialto running back. The 5-foot-11 sprinter is averaging more than 13 yards per carry and now has 20 TDs and more than 1,400 yards on the season.
