J.W. North senior Cameron Shannon has been selected InlandFieldhouse.com’s Player of the Week after scoring at will in Week 0 as the Huskies took down Ramona, 42-35, in a nonleague game on Friday, Aug. 18, 2023.
Shannon had touchdown passes of 35, 13, 46 and 39 yards, respectively, as the Huskies (1-0 overall) topped a intracity rival to start their season.
The 5-foot-11, 170-pound quarterback also ran for 95 yards on seven carries and had a 45-yard touchdown reception for J.W. North, a playoff qualifier last season.
