Beaumont senior Christopher Cooper has been selected InlandFieldhouse.com’s Player of the Week for a second time in 2023 after another undeniable performance as the Cougars shot their way past Yucaipa, 39-14, in the Citrus Belt League opener for both on Friday, Sept. 29, 2023.

Coooper completed 28 of 45 pass attempts for a single-game career high 467 yards and four touchdowns as the Cougars (6-0 overall) upended a rival’s perfect run.

The 6-foot-2, 205-pound quarterback currently ranks first in CIF-Southern Section in total yards (2,156) and second in passing yards (1,954).
