Eisenhower senior Dashaun Benton has been selected InlandFieldhouse.com’s Player of the Week after a inevitable performance as the Eagles beat Summit, 31-23, in a Sunkist League game on Friday, Oct. 20, 2023.

Benton took his first carry 87 yards for a touchdown and then executed a fake punt 73 yards for another score as the Eagles (8-1 overall, 2-0 Sunkist) erased an early deficit before holding on to win at least a share of a league title.

The 5-foot-9, 165-pound running back is second in CIF-Southern Section in receiving touchdowns (16) and fourth in receiving yards (1,025).
