Great Oak senior Trent Lux has been selected InlandFieldhouse.com’s Player of the Week after his finest performance to date for the Wolfpack in a 37-24 victory over Murrieta Mesa in a CIF-Southern Section Week 3 nonleague game on Friday, Sept. 11, 2026.
Lux completed 28 of 40 pass attempts for 377 yards and four touchdowns while adding 109 rushing yards and another score in the win as Great Oak (3-1 overall) bounced back from a 35-27 loss at Capistrano Valley last week.
Lux currently ranks six in CIFSS in passing yards (1,124), eighth in passing yards per game (303.5) and is tied for fourth in passing touchdowns (15).
