LA SIERRA (5-1 overall, 2-0 Mountain Valley League) are slinging it around with Steven Moore but the Eagles’ REAL offensive threat might be Shawn Childs, who simply dominated Jurupa Valley last week for more than 200 total yards and four touchdowns. The combination of Moore and Childs is a little like lightning-and-thunder, and when receiver Ezra Gatica gets involved, it starts to rain touchdowns. The Eagles are averaging 39 points per game and off to their best start since 2014.

RUBIDOUX (5-1 overall, 2-0 Mountain Valley League) continues to rely heavily upon its running backs and this year it’s senior Joshua Green. Through four 100-yard rushing performances – including two 200-yard games – Green is averaging 19.5 yards per carry and shredding defenses with 12 touchdowns. The Falcons’ do-everything pocket-knife on offense each of the last three years, Green is quickly approaching 1,000 rushing yards for the first time in his career.
