Hesperia junior quarterback Darius Williams has been selected InlandFieldhouse.com’s Player of the Week after his critical all-or-nothing performance in a 28-27 victory over Serrano in a CIF-Southern Section Week 8 game on Friday, Oct. 16, 2026.
Williams completed 10 of 14 passes for 207 yards and three touchdowns and also had five carries for 60 yards and another score as Hesperia (7-1 overall, 2-1 Mojave River) remained in a first-place tie heading into the final two weeks of the season – including a Week 10 matchup at Oak Hills on Oct. 30.
