1. Riverside North (23-4) — The Huskies lost their first Big VIII League game this season (to Corona Santiago on 5/4), but bounced back the next day to beat No. 4 La Verne Bonita in the championship game of the Corona Centennial HS Tournament on 5/5. Senior 1B/P Gabriel Clark (6-foot-2, 180 pounds) went 2 for 3 with two HRs vs. Bonita.

2. Redlands (21-4) — The Terriers picked themselves up from their debacle vs. No. 7 Yucaipa, dessimating Rialto Eisenhower for 20-0 run-differential over their two-game series last week. Junior INF/P Jimmy Walker (6-foot-2, 205 pounds), also the starting varsity QB, drove in seven total runs on just three total hits (two 2Bs) in the series.
