6. Inland Empire (16-17) — Sixers lost 3 straight in San Jose; Bill Haselman’s bunch scored just 4 runs there
7. Modesto (16-17) — If Nuts could win a few more at home (8-11), they might factor into the North race
8. Lancaster (15-18) — JetHawks hitting the ball about as well as High Desert, just 3 fewer HRs
9. Rancho Cucamonga (15-18) — Quakes safe from cellar, but only because Stockton keeps digging lower
10. Stockton (11-20) — Ports have lost nine consecutive are in real danger of sinking, 4.1 runs per game avg.
