David Solis, Menifee Paloma Valley…
… is Player Of The Week following his knock-out performance in the Wildcats’ 70-7 Week 2 victory over Hemet West Valley on Friday, Sept. 7, 2012. Solis, a senior, ran for 258 yards and five TDs as Paloma Valley absolutely crushed its opponent for a third consecutive week.
Solis is averaging more than 12 yards per carry this season, and the 5-foot-11, 185-pound tailback needed just 19 touches on Friday night to set Paloma Valley’s single-game record.
He ran for 71 yards on six carries in Week 0, then 188 yards on 18 carries in Week 1; a somewhat surprising development from a player who had just 441 yards rushing during junior season.
He now has touchdown runs of 50 and 80 yards this season, and has 571 yards and seven TDs overall, just one shy of the eight TDs he scored last year.

Go SOLIS!!!
