FOUR & MORE: Inland Area Raceways

1. Auto Club Speedway, Fontana — The premier racing facility on the West Coast has been the only SoCal stop for NASCAR since it opened in 1997.

2. Inland Motor Speedway, San Bernardino — Now defunct, 1/6-mile track hosted top-notch speedway motorcycle racing every Wednesday night for nearly two years.

3. Orange Show Speedway, San Bernardino — Still going strong despite ownership and management woes, ‘OSS’ is still the place to find late model stock cars on sizzling summer Saturday nights.

4. Glen Helen Raceway, San Bernardino — Outdoor motocross in SoCal has called Glen Helen home since the early ’90s, with the sport’s greats (McGrath, Emig, Carmichael, Stewart, etc.) all winning there.

AND MORE: Wheel-2-Wheel Raceway, Victorville — Hosted one spectacular United States’ Speedway National Championship in 2004, and still home to some decent weekly sprint car action.

….Perris Auto Speedway, Perris — Speaking of sprint cars, ‘The PAS’ is a historic 1/3-track in its own right, hosting some of the circuit’s signature events.
