FOUR & MORE: Inland Area WRs

1. Gary Bryant, Sr., Corona Centennial – One of the nation’s elite receivers may credit his down junior year (40 catches, 900 yards, 11 TDs) on the Huskies’ inconsistent two-QB system, but he’ll have to work with the same two QBs again this year.

2. Jaylen Matthews, Sr., San Bernardino San Gorgonio – Speedy slotback had 111 catches for more than 1,500 yards last season, and is a major key to the Spartans returning to the playoffs to defend their CIF-Southern Section Division 9 title.

3. Taliq Brown, Sr., Murrieta Valley – Remarkably consistent each of the last two seasons but ventures into new territory as Nighthawks will have someone new throwing the football for the first time in five years.

4. Isaac Perez, Sr., Riverside Hillcrest – Rangy and with a flair for the big catch in the big moment, probably a perfect fit for a West Coast-style offense.

Lonzel Bradford, Sr., Grand Terrace – Must be ultra consistent to have a big season as Mekhi Lewis’ No. 1 target.
Devin Gandy, Sr., Victorville Silverado – High Desert’s best WR had 50 catches for 1,005 yards and 12 TDs in ’18.
Ceaser Gonzalez, Sr., Norco – Not the flashiest player but has become a trusted safety net for Cougars QBs.
Aalias Williams, Sr., La Verne Bonita – Put up big numbers (83 catches, 1,200+ yards) to step into spotlight.
