FOUR & MORE: Inland Area RBs

PREP FOOTBALL 2019 (PRESEASON)
BEST INLAND AREA RUNNING BACKS

1. Jaydn Ott, Soph., Norco – Totaled 1,096 rushing yards and 13 TDs as a freshman in the Big VIII and CIF-Southern Section Division I playoffs, so we’re giving the 6-foot, 180-pound tailback a slight edge heading into this season.

2. Eddie Allain, Soph., Riverside Norte Vista – Lanky freshman emerged after injuries took their toll on the Braves’ famously brutal running game, gaining 1,550 yards and 23 TDs to push the program into the future.

3. Tyevin Ford, Sr., Upland – Gives the Scots an experienced hand on offense during a year in transition, can almost guarantee a big season from the elusive ball carrier.

4. Thaj Stevens-Nguyen, Jr., Pomona Garey – Projects as a defensive back at the next level but we’re giving him love for his ability to carve his RB niche.

AND MORE:
Marshawn Buchanan, Sr., Adelanto – All-CIF Division 12 selection led all Inland Area juniors with more than 2,100 rushing yards last season.
Isaac Flores, Sr., Jurupa Valley Patriot – Likely to see 30-to-35 carries a game and 250+ this season as Warriors best offensive weapon.
Donte Roby, Jr., Sr., Riverside Ramona – Among the most elusive runners in the Inland area, but size and durability are issues.
Kenny Teter, Sr., Menifee Heritage – Big things expected after rushing for 902 yards and 12 TDs as Patriots’ No. 2 tailback.
