Vista Murrieta senior Gavin Galzote has been selected InlandFieldhouse.com’s Player of the Week after punishing Week 5-B performance as the Broncos toppled Villa Park 45-27 in a nonleague game on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021.
Galzote ran for a season-best 289 yards and one touchdown on 20 carries as the Broncos (4-1 overall) beat a highly-ranked opponent heading into Southwestern League play.
The 5-foot-5, 165-pound senior now ranks inside the Top 10 in the CIF-Southern Section in rushing yards (817), and inside the Top 15 in both touchdowns (10) and yards per game (163.4).
